Innovative Workspace Design for Enhanced Productivity
Learn how to address challenges with space constraints and boost occupant wellness through the utilization of efficient storage solutions.
What's in the presentation?
More than ever before, the efficient design and operation of a workspace has an effect on the bottom line. This course explores how furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) can support the creation of more functional workspaces through efficient design methods. Participants will learn how to incorporate FF&E to deliver an environment that is both productive and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to the success and well-being of its occupants.
This presentation counts toward 1 AIA or IDCEC LU|HSW Credit.
Objectives:
- Identify challenges and opportunities across various vertical markets and what storage solutions can solve those challenges by optimizing FF&E, space, and capacity.
- Learn how to maximize space utilization through flexible and adaptable layouts in new construction or renovation projects.
- Explore how to create engaging experiences through strategic zoning, ambiance, and use of technology, by prioritizing accessibility, while utilizing design for business enhancement and brand development.
- Examine the ways FF&E can contribute to occupant wellness, safety, and LEED Certification by reducing building footprint and integrating lighting solutions, safety features, and security into compact shelving and storage systems.
